You have chosen "Change the water"

A water change is going to be needed to get the stone out of the pond. A water change alone will not solve the sediment troubles the young man is having. If the pond is pumped out and refilled the sediment that is beneath the stone and on the liner will not be removed.  This will only temporarily fix the cloud of sediment. The silt is a by product of another problem which is in the mechanics of his pond, not in his pond keeping skills, or efforts for that matter. Something in the pond needs to change. Please proceed.
