You have chosen "Buy a larger pump"

This answer will only partly solve the young mans problem. As the silt levels build up in the pond the demand for oxygen gets higher. Eventually the pump will be unable to keep up with the oxygen demand, and another larger pump will be needed. The young man is turning over at least one half of the pond volume per hour. He has enough circulation, just not where he needs it. His money would be better spent on baseball cards not a bigger pump.
