Question: I seem to have a leak in my preformed plastic pond how can i locate the leak and what can i do to fix it? my plan right now is to let the water drain to where it stops leaking and use a seaming tape all the way around the water line. will this do the trick or do you have any better ideas?

THANKS,

Jim...

Answer: Jim,

If you stop running your pump and allow the water to drop you can locate the hole by following the water line around until you find the hole. Turning off the pump allows you to eliminate the leak being in the waterfall or the wind blowing the the water out of the system. I wouldn't bother using the seaming tape all the way around the pond, that will be too expensive. Let the water level stabilize and then find the hole.

Thanks and I hope that this is helpful.

Scott
